We are the only major,exclusively free provider of advice in the district
The Citizens Advice Bureau provides advice and information to 1000’s of people each year. We are confidential and free.
90% of our staff are volunteers, who receive comprehensive and nationally accredited training to provide advice and support to indivuals, often at a time of crisis in thier lives.
As well as this, we also make information available for people to “help themselves”, including the award winning “adviceguide” website.
If you are an individual and would like to volunteer, there are a range of roles you could fulfill and activities you could undertake. Call us and ask to speak to our training manager about this. 90% of our staff are volunteers and we are looking for people from a range of backgrounds to help us.
